Hi friends,
Did you start doing Chappell Roan’s Hot to Go dance when you opened this email? If not, go back and do it! Sandra has taught baby Maya the dance and the video is the cutest thing ever.
Longtime TNHS readers will remember when
and I used to teach regular meal prep classes. On many Sunday afternoons, we taught a tightly programmed two hour class that left attendees with meals for the week, including mains, sides, and a breakfast or dessert. Many of the recipes can be found in our ebook, Meal Prep Made Simple. Everything had GF and vegetarian options and putting them together was both a lot of work and a lot of fun.One of my favorite classes to teach each year was our oven-free session, usually held in August. We did some stovetop cooking but it was fully oven free for meals that wouldn’t heat up the kitchen. It was slightly self serving as we always had to turn off the AC while we taught to avoid background noise, but I think everyone in class appreciated it too! I’ve been channeling that mindset recently as it is soupy outside and wanted to share some ideas (please share yours in the comments as we have a lot of summer ahead of us). And as for why it’s so hot: it’s climate change! More on that here.
