Did you ever get a personal pizza?

Did you grow up with summer reading? I remember waiting until the last possible minute to read the book (one year it was the Odyssey I think, which is simply too much for some unsupervised high school students). My mom’s book club always picks a summer read and one year it was Dante’s Inferno, which is decidedly not a beach read. It became a family joke when she pulled it out by a pool. I never got to participate in a food related reading challenge but I’ve heard stories about people who got free pizza in exchange for reading books, any books, and I am so jealous, even though I can buy myself pizza whenever.
