Today’s newsletter is more of a stream of consciousness. We had a tough time getting home from Maine—our flight was canceled due to storms in New York and rebooked for the next morning. Tilden and I spent the night at the Bangor airport hotel, which had a pretty decent restaurant (they even had a veggie burger). We started watching Glamorous, the new Kim Cattrall show on Netflix which is sort of like Emily in Paris meets Ugly Betty, set in the beauty industry in New York and slept a little. My mom was a real MVP and picked us up at the airport (we were rebooked into JFK instead of Laguardia which added lots of extra time) and we finally made it back to Brooklyn late Tuesday morning. I know so many people were impacted by the flight cancellations this week. Travel is so much fun and also can be so stressful as so much of it is out of your control. I’m grateful for everyone’s patience and kindness as we journeyed back. Maine was so lovely and I’d love to go back—cooking there was such a dream. I’m still catching up on sleep and busy with work, but I wanted to say hello and share a few reads and fun things.
