A Day in My Life (Yesterday)

Ice cream dates, a 10/10 weather day, and lots of emails

Hopping on a bit of a trend and because I love all forms of journaling, I decided to document a day in my life, Wednesday, September 4th. I’ve written before about how I spend my work days but a lot has changed so I thought it would be fun to share an update of sorts and don’t we all love slightly nosy content? When I was in middle school, I had to quit journaling because I thought to do it “right” you had to write down every single thing that happened and I was staying up until 1am cataloging my day. Looking back, a lot was going on in middle school and I saw none of it clearly because I was in middle school. I fell into a familiar documentation style here but we are who we are. Here’s what I did yesterday, with rough time stamps.

At 7:15 am, my alarm goes off and I immediately adjust it to 7:45. I went to bed late last night due to the Bachelorette finale and need the extra sleep.

I’m actually awake at 7:45 am. I scroll a tiny bit, Dale and I talk about our days ahead and how we’re going to get to a barbecue this weekend. He has a work dinner, I’m excited about Ghia’s new product launch, Le Fizz.

A little after 8, I get out of bed and do a 10 minute yoga flow with Chelsea on the Peloton app. I do this in my pajamas (a linen set from Quince that I really like) because I think I won’t get sweaty. I do get sweaty.
