Your ability to consistently cook meals will never cease to amaze me (as someone who is tired of making decisions). A question for Thursday, unless it's already been done: have you done a Manhattan or Brooklyn mini travel guide? Mostly curious about go-to restaurants, for special occasion or just a nice consistent meal.

Thank you! We are all our own worst critics when it comes to cooking but I find having a semi stocked pantry, using cookbooks (screen free which is the real win), and cooking with other people around helps when I'm in a rut—the decision fatigue is real. Or getting a fun ingredient like farmers market tomatoes! Great Q for Thursday—I don't have a formal guide (partially because it's always changing) but can share some faves!

I love nooch on grits! (Uh... I don't remember you mentioning cooking grits so ymmv, but I'm having grits made with water, salt, nooch, goat cheese with fried oyster mushrooms and brocc for lunch today!)

You're right, I don't think I've ever cooked grits, blame my Northeast pov! Such a good idea! and that combo sounds like it would be so good on rice too!

Questions for Thursday: What are some of your favorite Fall activities in the city? Is it worth going to the fake "pumpkin patches" scattered about? Are there any legit local vendors to buy good apple cider donuts from? Thoughts on the village Halloween parade? Favorite places to see Halloween decor? I want to hear it all.

Love this question and I feel like you may have better answers to it than I do but I will do my best!
