I'm on challah duty for Yom Kippur this year so I need to know how that fig one turns out! Otherwise I will definitely be using your family recipe once again - it truly never fails.

I make the fig one every year for rosh—it's def extra work but delicious (I think you could use fig jam instead of homemade filling but i'm always worried about moisture content). You can't go wrong with the classic family recipe though!
