Glad you got shot #1 and I’m sure it’s helpful to other (local) readers who are anticipating their own. FWIW, I got my first shot in Michigan, and the process was executed with ease and almost military precision (at the University of Michigan Stadium). Everyone was very knowledgeable, and the entire thing took 22 minutes, INCLUDING the 15 minutes after the shot to make sure I didn’t have any immediate side effects (which thankfully I did not). My arm, like yours, was sore for a day or so, but I had no other symptoms/side effects. Maybe that’s because I’m an alte kaker (old fart for those who don’t know this lovely Yiddish term). If you get offered the vaccine, please help yourself and everyone else, and get it!

Wow, that process sounds so smooth! They're starting to use stadiums here too, including Yankee Stadium. I'm glad you've gotten yours and no side effects! I can't wait for everyone to be vaccinated, it's going to help so much!
